Fine Filigree

I don't think that I ever wore a store-bought costume for Halloween.
It was either home-made or simply pieced together with what was on hand.
You know, the gypsy, the hobo, the mime...

Today, I'm loving these.

Me, I'm a keep it simple kind of gal.

First to Bloom

Hellebores (or Helleborus?) also known as Lenten Rose.

Underneath the Winter leaves, it's a great surprise to find this gorgeous plant loaded with flowers. Unfortunately, they droop downward. So reveal them early, cut them, prop up their little heads, and enjoy!
